After that she worked at a public school as a teacher and coordinator for lateral entry for students in Germany in the field of German as a foreign language and is also experienced in cultural project coordination. Her professional focus is on methodology/didactics, teacher training, intercultural learning and cultural project work with a focus on German as a foreign language. Mina Mikuljanac
After obtaining a B.A. in German studies in Belgrade (Serbia), Mina Mikuljanac went on to study M.A. in German linguistics in Bamberg, Germany as a part of a DAAD scholarship programme. As of 2020, she holds multiple certificates as an examiner for German language tests. Between 2021 and 2024, Mina Mikuljanac worked at the universities of Bamberg and Leipzig as a research associate. Before coming to Tbilissi as a DAAD language assistance in September 2025, she worked briefly as an integration and language teacher at a German vocational school.

DAAD Lectureship in Yerevan / Armenia

Johannes Gereons
After studying linguistics and German as a foreign and second language at Bielefeld University, Johannes Gereons has completed a DAAD teaching assistantship in the Sultanate of Oman. He then studied for a Master’s degree in German as a foreign and second Language at the Herder Institute of Leipzig University and completed a further Master’s degree in Peace and Conflict Studies at University College Dublin in Ireland. Johannes Gereons has been teaching German as a second and foreign language at various locations since 2016 and has been a DAAD lecturer at Yerevan State University since 2024.

Claudio Kasperl
After studying Modern German literature, German Philology, and Economics Claudio Kasperl worked as a research associate at Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen and from 2006 to 2011 as DAAD lecturer at Chulalongkorn University Bangkok. He held positions at Hessen State Ministry for Higher Education and Research as well as a German as a foreign language instructor and examiner in Berlin. Since September 2022 he has been teaching as a DAAD lecturer at AzTU in Baku.

Hendrik Jackson
Hendrik Jackson studied philosophy, Slavic studies and theatre studies. He worked as an author, translator, organiser, editor and proofreader of academic and literary texts. Since 2007, he has been a regular lecturer and leader of translation workshops at various international universities as well as in Germany; founder of the Academy for Poetry Criticism in 2018; DAAD lecturer at Moscow State University (MGU) since 2019 and at the University of Szczecin from 2021 to 2024; 2024–2025 lecturer at the University of Hildesheim (cultural journalism and creative writing) and from 2025 on DAAD lecturer at the Slavic University Baku. Over 100 publications of his own works and translations worldwide.
